Hi!  I’m Caitlin! I founded Bloom Therapy Collective to provide individualized speech therapy and feeding services to families based on their unique needs. Over the past 5 years, I have worked primarily in outpatient clinics and a private practice setting providing skilled speech and feeding services in person and via telehealth platforms. I have worked with children ranging from birth to 21 years of age that have difficulty with communication or feeding skills due to autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, hearing loss, traumatic brain injuries, childhood apraxia of speech, cleft palate / lip, selective mutism, developmental delays, genetic disorders, and other medical diagnoses.  I have a passion for working closely with families and providing training to all caregivers. My hope is that Bloom Therapy Collective will bring many additional services to our community in the near future.          

 I earned my bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders and my master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. I am a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and Texas Speech Language Hearing Association (TSHA). In addition, I am trained in the SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) Approach to Feeding. I have numerous hours of continuing education in a variety of approaches to address picky eating, including sensory aversions, and feeding/swallowing disorders, such as dysphagia. I also have expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices, including the use of high-tech, mid-tech, and low-tech options. I enjoy working with clients who use speech-generating devices and providing training to their families and caregivers.

When I am not seeing a client, I can be found working in our garden, baking in the kitchen, going on walks with our dog, or playing pickleball with my husband. We recently moved to Magnolia, Texas and are looking forward to settling down and enjoying our new home! I look forward to helping your skills BLOOM!
